Heydar Aliyev Center, Fuzuli

Major renovation works have been carried out at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the Fuzuli district. As part of the project, the center's building and its surrounding grounds were refurbished and brought up to modern standards. The façade is clad in light-toned natural stone, and architectural details such as the cornices, columns and entrance portal have been restored. A metal-clad dome at the center of the building gives it a distinctive silhouette. Carved wooden entrance doors, wide glazed openings and a stepped forecourt complete the building's ceremonial character. The plaza in front of the center is paved with natural stone slabs, and the monument to National Leader Heydar Aliyev stands on a granite pedestal. The colonnaded entrance of Heydar Park, wrought-iron gates and fencing, red-tiled gazebos, decorative lamp posts, rose gardens and lawns form a unified landscape composition. As a result, the Heydar Aliyev Center in Fuzuli has become a comfortable and attractive venue for cultural events as well as for residents' leisure.
